Prime Minister Prachanda Announces Revision of Chure Conservation Master Plan

In a recent session of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ declared plans for the revision of the Chure Conservation Master Plan. This initiative aims to enhance the effectiveness of conservation efforts in the Chure region, emphasizing the government’s commitment to safeguarding biodiversity and natural resources.

Prime Minister Prachanda addressed queries from Members of Parliament, affirming the government’s dedication to the comprehensive protection and sustainable utilization of the Chure region’s ecological assets. Conservation endeavors in the Chure and Madhes areas are currently overseen by the President Chure Tarai Madhes Conservation Development Committee.

In a broader context, Prime Minister Prachanda also shed light on the nation’s economic landscape. While acknowledging certain sectors facing challenges, he highlighted the predominantly positive indicators across the economy. Emphasizing the government’s resolve to bolster employment opportunities domestically, he underscored the importance of macroeconomic stability.

“The government is unwavering in its commitment to fostering employment opportunities within the country,” stated Prime Minister Prachanda. He outlined specific strategies aimed at stimulating production and employment through collective entrepreneurship in various sectors including agriculture, animal husbandry, cottage industries, small and medium-scale enterprises, tourism, and information technology.

Additionally, the Prime Minister announced a new provision enabling Nepalis residing abroad to apply for the aforementioned special programs, signaling a broader inclusivity in the government’s economic initiatives.
