US Indo-Pacific Commander Meets Prime Minister Prachanda

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, highlighting the significance of the partnership between the two nations. Admiral Aquilino commended Nepal for its valuable contributions to UN peacekeeping missions, underscoring the country’s commitment to global peace and security.
Admiral Aquilino’s visit to Kathmandu follows his participation in a multinational peacekeeping exercise named Shanti Prayas, jointly organized by the Nepal Army and the US Indo-Pacific Command. The exercise aims to enhance cooperation and interoperability among participating nations in peacekeeping operations.
