Dolly Chaiwala, Who Served Tea to Bill Gates, Expresses Desire to Serve PM Modi!
Dolly Chaiwala, a tea seller from Nagpur, has become an internet sensation after a video of him serving tea to Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates went viral on social media.
Speaking exclusively , Dolly Chaiwala revealed that he initially did not recognize Bill Gates when he approached his tea stall. “I did not know who he was. I thought that he was some guy from a foreign country, so I should serve him tea,” he said. It was only after the video surfaced online that Dolly realized the identity of his esteemed customer.
Describing the encounter, Dolly mentioned that there was minimal conversation between him and Bill Gates. “We did not speak at all. He was standing just beside me, and I was busy with my work. After sipping on my tea, he said, ‘Wow, Dolly ki Chai,'” recalled the tea seller.
Dolly’s unique attire, inspired by South Indian movies, has also caught the attention of many. However, he humbly stated that he had merely copied the style from films he had watched.
Expressing his aspirations, Dolly shared his desire to serve tea to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the future. “Today, I feel that I have become ‘Nagpur ka Dolly Chaiwala.’ In the future, I wish to serve tea to Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
Despite his newfound fame, Dolly remains grounded and dedicated to his craft. “I just want to sell tea to everybody with a smile all my life and receive all those smiles back,” he said gleefully.
The viral video, which showcases Dolly’s artistry in preparing tea on his cart, has garnered millions of views online, catapulting him to fame overnight.
