NC Demands Thorough Investigation into Shalin Pokhrel’s Death
The Nepali Congress has demanded a thorough investigation into the death of Shalin Pokhrel, an eighth-grade student at Ekta Shishu Niketan Boarding School in Ratnanagar-10, Chitwan. She was found dead in the school hostel a few days ago, prompting concerns about the circumstances surrounding her demise.
In a statement issued today, the Nepali Congress expressed serious concern over the incident and called for an impartial and comprehensive investigation. The party emphasized the need to swiftly uncover the truth and ensure that justice is served.
“The sudden and tragic death of a young student under such suspicious circumstances is deeply concerning,” stated the Congress. “We urge the government to prioritize this investigation and ensure that the perpetrators, if any, are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
The Nepali Congress also extended its heartfelt condolences to the family of Shalin Pokhrel, mourning the loss of a promising young student.
