Ultimately With Whom Is Prime Minister Dahal Satisfied?

If we listen to the recent statements of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, it seems he is not happy with anyone’s work. After assuming office, Dahal had said that he really wanted to work for the best during his third term as Prime Minister. But after leading the government for 14 months, he is not satisfied even with his own work.

Dissatisfied with the ministers of his own government, Prime Minister Dahal is also unhappy with the mechanisms of his employees. Not only that, Dahal, who is not satisfied with the partners of the ruling coalition, is also dissatisfied with his own party and cadres.

His dissatisfaction with the opposition parties is not something to dismiss, as it is a constant factor.

He is even unhappy with the media. Prime Minister Dahal has expressed his dissatisfaction with the media, stating that people are being disappointed by media coverage, as the media is spreading frustration about the government’s activities. Ultimately, with whom is Prime Minister Dahal satisfied?

Listening to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, it seems that he is full of discontent. During the policy and program and budget review program for the current fiscal year on Thursday, Prime Minister Dahal expressed his displeasure that he could not effectively collaborate with his ministers and secretaries.

He indirectly conveyed his frustration, indicating that there was insufficient support from both ministers and secretaries, lamenting that the pace of development work in Sighadurbur has not met expectations.

Earlier as well, Prime Minister Dahal had been delivering speeches filled with frustration. However, he has been unable to fulfill the promises he made prior to assuming office. In a public speech marking the government’s one-year anniversary, he expressed dissatisfaction with his ministers and warned that those who fail to perform will be removed. However, as of now, he has not yet taken action on this warning.

Dahal has not been able to improve the economic condition of the country. Due to increasing unemployment, hundreds of young people are forced to go abroad every day. The government does not have a solid plan to solve such problems. But Prime Minister Dahal is dissatisfied even with the citizens who are leaving for employment and studies and says that they are trying to paint a picture of despair for the country.

The Prime Minister’s belief that everyone should play an equal role in fostering a positive attitude towards the country is commendable. However, the responsibility for creating the conducive environment for this lies with himself. Unfortunately, he seems to have overlooked this responsibility and has instead begun expressing dissatisfaction towards the people.

The prime minister is himself responsible for making ministers and employees work. A true leader does this under any circumstances. The fault of not being able to get results from them is definitely the fault of the Prime Minister. He did not see his fault in this. Dahal, who has been expressing his displeasure with alliance partners, employees, and citizens, seems to be even more angry with the leaders of his own party. He has been accusing party leaders and workers of being lazy and self-indulgent. But Dahal’s argument is that he did everything right.
