NC President Calls Central Working Committee Meeting to Navigate Political Shifts
Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has convened a crucial meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) to address recent political developments.
Scheduled for Tuesday at 3 pm, the meeting will be held at President Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha, according to Krishna Prasad Poudel, Chief Secretary of the NC Central Office.
Amidst significant shifts in Nepal’s political landscape, the CWC aims to engage in comprehensive discussions and analyses of these recent developments.
In preparation, a preliminary meeting involving the party’s office bearers and former office bearers was held on Monday.
“The primary agenda of the meeting is to scrutinize recent significant events and developments,” highlighted Poudel.
Notably, the CWC, which ideally comprises 46 members, currently counts 37 members.
The meeting assumes added significance against the backdrop of the emergence of a new coalition, which includes parties such as CPN-UML, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Janata Samajwadi, and others.
The Nepali Congress aims to assess the implications of these developments and strategize accordingly, signaling a proactive approach towards navigating the evolving political landscape.
