‘New Alliance Formed for Leftist Convergence in Nepal’
Maoist Centre Secretary Devendra Paudel announced the formation of a new alliance aimed at steering the country towards leftist convergence. Addressing journalists in Baluwatar today, Paudel emphasized the importance of uniting communist parties to address the desires of the Nepali people.
Paudel stated, “The formation of this alliance is a proactive measure to prevent the weakening of communist forces in Nepal. It is imperative that we correct past mistakes and weaknesses to forge a path forward for our nation.”
The discussions during the meeting focused on rectifying previous errors and charting a course that aligns with the aspirations of the Nepali populace. Paudel underscored the necessity of overcoming obstacles in the political journey and viewed the alliance as a continuation of efforts from the past.
Moreover, Paudel revealed that the Socialist Front Nepal would persist alongside the newly formed alliance with the CPN-UML. He expressed confidence in moving forward with the support of all parties within the Front, emphasizing their shared communist ideology.
“The leading figures of the parties in the Front are staunch communists, and we are committed to advancing together,” Paudel affirmed.
