JSP and Janamat party in internal discussions
The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal has held discussions on the country’s contemporary topics of the country, including the party’s participation in the present coalition government.
In the Executive Committee meeting held today, the party leaders discussed on the ministers representing the party in the government and on the party’s agenda and stance while joining the government.
JSP Nepal’s spokesperson Manish Suman said that the leaders put their views on topics including the guarantee of the Madhes province government.
“All the leaders speaking in today’s meeting sought the guarantee for the continuation of the present provincial government in the Madhes province and also put their views accordingly. The situation is extremely fluid, the party will reach a decision only after this is settled,” he said.
According to him, the JSP Nepal will again convene its meeting following the decision to be taken by the meeting of the parties in the ruling alliance.
Similarly, the Janamat Party said it will make further decision after the topic of the Madhes provincial government is finalized.
Party spokesman Dr Sharad Singh Yadav said, “Our bottom line is that our party should get the Chief Minister of the Madhes province government. Many are of the opinion that we should move ahead as per the old agreement itself.”
