President Paudel Swears in Narayan Prasad Dahal as Chairman of NA
In a solemn ceremony held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office to Narayan Prasad Dahal, the newly elected Chairman of the National Assembly (NA), on Tuesday.
The ceremony, conducted in accordance with the National Assembly Regulation 2075, Rule 217 (Ka) Schedule 2, witnessed the esteemed presence of Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, and Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Dev Raj Ghimire, among other distinguished dignitaries.
Sailaja Regmi Bhattarai, the spokesperson for the President’s Office, confirmed the official swearing-in of Chairman Dahal, marking a significant milestone in the parliamentary proceedings.
