CK Raut Advocates for Directly-Elected Executive PM
In a recent session of the House of Representatives, Chairman of Janamat Party, Dr. Chandra Kant Raut, widely known as CK Raut, put forth a compelling argument for the implementation of a directly-elected executive Prime Minister. Addressing the assembly, Raut underscored the necessity of empowering the people by allowing them to directly elect the country’s leader.
During the session held on Wednesday, Raut urged for a mechanism where the vote of confidence would be entrusted directly to the populace, emphasizing the importance of restoring trust in the parliamentary system. He expressed deep concern over the apparent failure to honor the confidence reposed in the parliament by the citizens.
Raut pointed out that the current state of internal discord within the parliament has not yielded any substantive benefits for the people. He stressed the need for meaningful reforms that prioritize the interests and aspirations of the populace.
