Police Seize 15kg of Hashish at TIA

Police authorities have intercepted a significant quantity of illegal drugs at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). The seizure, comprising 15 kilograms of hashish, occurred on Tuesday and was revealed to the public today.

Bhim Prasad Dhakal, the Central Police Spokesperson, disclosed that the illicit substance was concealed within photo frames intended for transportation to London via Qatar Air. Following the interception, the hashish has been transferred to the Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police, Koteshwor, for comprehensive investigation.

The incident underscores the continued vigilance of law enforcement agencies in curbing drug trafficking activities at major transportation hubs.
