RSP Unveils Potential Candidates for Ilam-2 By-Election
In preparation for the upcoming by-election in Ilam-2, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has revealed the names of six potential candidates. The party aims to conduct a primary election to determine the final contender who will represent them in the crucial electoral battle.
Bhumi Nanda Baral, the secretary of the party’s Election Commission, confirmed the party’s intention to hold a primary election to select the final candidate. The contenders for this primary election include Gokul Bahadur Rai, Jamuna Sharma, Mahendra Kumar Thapa, Maan Bahadur Ghimire, Milan Limbu, and Shesraman Neupane Shrestha.
The primary election will serve as a platform for party members to vote and choose the most suitable candidate to carry the RSP’s banner in the Ilam-2 by-election, scheduled for April 27th.
