NEPSE Plunges by 17.30 Points
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a significant decline on Sunday as it plunged by 17.30 points, closing at 2,018.33 points. Similarly, the sensitive index also dropped by 2.51 points, ending the day at 356.58 points.
Trading activity remained active with a total of 7,957,659-unit shares of 316 companies being traded, amounting to Rs 3.20 billion.
In terms of individual stock performance, Maya Khola Hydropower Company Limited (MKHC) emerged as the top gainer of the day with its price surging by 10.00 percent. Conversely, Sarbottam Cement Limited (SARBTM) experienced the highest decline, with its price dropping by 9.99 percent.
By the close of trading, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3.20 trillion, reflecting the overall performance of the market.
