Chinese Ambassador Meets Upendra Yadav
The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nepal, Chen Song, paid a courtesy call on Upendra Yadav, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, on Tuesday.
Following the meeting, Ambassador Song took to the social media platform ‘X’ to express his satisfaction with the discussions. He wrote, “Glad to pay a courtesy call on Honorable Mr. Upendra Yadav, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for MoHP. We exchanged views on cooperation in the health sector between China and Nepal and agreed to elevate the collaborations to a new level to help Nepal achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.”
Yadav, who also serves as the Chairperson of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), welcomed the discussions and emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between the two countries.
