NEPSE Surges by 9.19 Points
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a notable surge today, gaining 9.19 points to close at 2,036.01 points on Tuesday. Investors showed optimism as the market showed positive momentum.
The sensitive index also saw a rise, increasing by 0.75 points to close at 360.15 points, reflecting overall positive sentiment among traders.
Trading activity remained active, with a total of 9,789,416-unit shares of 315 companies changing hands, amounting to Rs 4.14 billion in transactions.
In today’s trading session, Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) emerged as the top gainer, with its price soaring by 10.00 percent. Conversely, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) experienced a decline, being the top loser with a 10.00 percent drop in its price.
At the day’s end, the total market capitalization stood at an impressive Rs 3.22 trillion, showcasing the resilience and potential of Nepal’s stock market.
