Gold Prices Surge by Rs 700 per Tola

Today, the domestic gold market witnessed a significant surge as the price of gold rose by Rs 700 per tola. The Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that the price of fine gold has been adjusted to Rs 137,500 per tola, while standard gold is now being traded at Rs 136,850 per tola.
Compared to Sunday’s rates of Rs 136,800 per tola for fine gold and Rs 136,150 per tola for standard gold, this marks a notable increase.
In contrast, the price of silver has maintained stability at Rs 1,715 per tola.
For those unfamiliar, one tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
