15th Apr 2024
A cadre injured during Rastriya Prajantra Party’s (RPP) demonstration tragically passed away on Monday morning. Thakur Prasad Dangi of Bardiya, as confirmed by RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha, succumbed to his injuries at Military Hospital, Chhauni, at 4 am.
Dangi, who suffered from a respiratory ailment, faced complications exacerbated by tear gas exposure during the protest. Following the incident, he was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The protest, organized by RPP in Kathmandu on April 9, advocated for the restoration of monarchy and a Hindu state. Dangi’s demise adds a somber note to the ongoing discourse surrounding these issues.
