Deuba Urges Govt: Take Opposition Concerns Seriously
In a recent address at a program organized by the UML, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba emphasized the importance of the government addressing the concerns of the opposition with due seriousness. He stressed that the active functioning of Parliament is crucial and urged for a positive reception to the issues raised by the opposition in legislative sessions.
“Parliament should be allowed to function actively. The issues brought up by the opposition in Parliament should be received positively by the government,” Deuba stated. He further highlighted the necessity for the government to engage constructively with the points put forth by opposition parties, reinforcing the democratic ethos of addressing varied viewpoints within the governance framework.
