Foreign Ministry Announces Visit of Japanese Foreign Minister to Nepal
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Ms. Kamikawa Yoko, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will visit Nepal on May 5, 2024. The official visit comes at the invitation of Nepal’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha.
During her visit, Minister Kamikawa will pay courtesy calls on Nepal’s President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. Key bilateral talks are also scheduled with Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha to discuss and enhance the diplomatic relationship between Japan and Nepal.
The visit is a significant step in strengthening the ties between the two countries, highlighting ongoing cooperation and friendship. Minister Kamikawa is set to depart from Kathmandu on the same day of her visit.
