Light Rain Expected in Hilly Regions
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported partial to general changes in weather conditions across the country, with light rain accompanied by thunders, lightning, and winds occurring in some areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
According to meteorological experts, this weather pattern is influenced by a combination of westerly winds, local winds, and a low-pressure system formed in and around Bihar, India.
In the afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions, particularly in Koshi and Lumbini provinces. Residents in these areas should anticipate light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Additionally, there are chances of light snowfall in certain high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
Tonight, the weather is forecasted to remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions, particularly in Koshi Province. Residents should brace for the possibility of light to moderate rain, along with thunder, lightning, and gusty winds at one or two places in other parts of the country.
Over the next 24 hours, light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in some areas of the hilly regions, including Koshi and Bagmati provinces.
Considering the potential impact of light snowfall on various aspects of daily life, including agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road, and air transport, the Department has urged residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
