A tragic collision involving four vehicles occurred along the Narayangadh-Muglin road last night, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to 22 others.
The incident took place at 17-Kilo in Bharatpur Metropolis-29, as confirmed by the District Police Office in Chitwan. A 17-year-old boy was killed in the crash, though his identity has not yet been established.
Spokesperson Bhesraj Rijal reported that the accident involved three buses and a truck colliding with one another. The crash caused a temporary obstruction of the roadway, but two-way traffic has resumed this morning.
Of the injured, 18 passengers are receiving treatment at a basic hospital in Kurintar, while four others have been admitted to Chitwan Medical College. The authorities are investigating the cause of the collision and working to identify the deceased.
