Rs. 116 Billion Pledged for Social Security, Investment on Women Year Declared
In a recent announcement, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun revealed that the government has allocated Rs 116 billion for social security allowances in the upcoming fiscal year of 2081/82 BS. This announcement was made during the presentation of the annual estimate of income and expenditure for the fiscal year 2081/82 BS (2024/25) at a joint meeting of the federal parliament today.
Additionally, Minister Pun highlighted that the upcoming year will be designated as the “Year for Investment on Women,” signaling a focused effort on promoting and supporting women’s involvement in various sectors of the economy. This initiative aims to enhance opportunities for women’s participation in investment and entrepreneurship, contributing to overall economic growth and empowerment.
