Government Reduces Budget for Ministry of Drinking Water

In the latest budget announcement on Tuesday, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun revealed a significant reduction in the allocation for the Ministry of Drinking Water.

The budget has been decreased by nearly Rs 2 billion, with the new allocation set at Rs 26.43 billion, down from the previous Rs 28.16 billion.

This budget cut comes as part of the government’s broader fiscal adjustments for the upcoming financial year.
