Shramadhan employment fair beginning in Janakpurdham

The Shramadhan Employment Fair is taking place in Janakpurdham today. Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security in Madhes Province, and Janakpurdham sub-metropolis are jointly organising the two-day fair.

The Confederation of the Nepalese Industries has coordinated the fair. Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security and Madhes Province Coordinator of the fair, Dipendra Poudel said there would be more than 35 stalls of government bodies, manpower agencies and different social organisations in the event.

He explained that the employers would take interview of youths, who are in search of employment during the fair. Different programmes including networking sessions targeting the job aspiring youths would also feature, according to the organiser.

The objective of the fair is to create employment, promote industries and contribute to overall economic development of the country by expanding employment market.

The fair is expected to spur enthusiasm among employers and job aspirants, according to the organiser.
