Prime Minister Prachanda Foresees Bright Future for Pokhara Medical College
In a promising address to the 7th Senate of the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences (PoAHs), Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ conveyed his hopeful outlook for the prospective Pokhara Medical College. Speaking in Pokhara, the Prime Minister expressed his belief that the proposed medical college would cultivate a conducive environment for medical education in the area.
Prime Minister Prachanda disclosed plans for the commencement of MBBS classes in the upcoming fiscal year, underscoring the government’s commitment to realizing the aspirations of the Academy. He stressed the importance of instituting a structured calendar to ensure the efficient functioning of the institute.
“The government is optimistic that once MBBS classes begin here, the Academy will emerge as a leading medical institution,” remarked Prime Minister Prachanda, highlighting the pivotal role the Academy is poised to play in shaping the future of medical education in Pokhara.
Acknowledging the challenges posed by limited resources, Prime Minister Prachanda reiterated the government’s dedication to the development and elevation of the Academy, emphasizing its status as a top priority for the administration.
