Stagnation in Gold Prices Marks the Day in Nepali Markets
The price of gold in the Nepali market remained unchanged today, as reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. Fine gold maintained its position at Rs 142,200 per tola, while standard gold was steady at Rs 141,500 per tola.
This pricing mirrors yesterday’s rates, indicating stability in the precious metal’s valuation. The Federation, which sets daily prices based on international market trends, reported no significant fluctuations in global benchmarks affecting today’s local rates.
In addition to gold, the price of silver also remained consistent at Rs 1,815 per tola. Market analysts attribute the stagnant prices to a balanced supply-demand scenario in the domestic market.
A tola, a traditional unit of measure equivalent to approximately 11.66 grams, is widely used in the local gold and silver trade.
