Prachanda Not in Mood to Resign: Clarifies Will Step Down Only if Coalition Withdraws Support

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has clarified that he will not resign from his post unless the coalition government members withdraw their support.
A member of the Prime Minister’s secretariat disclosed that Dahal intends to make a decision on resigning or seeking a vote of confidence within the next 30 days, contingent upon the coalition members’ formal withdrawal of support.
The secretariat emphasized that there is currently no requirement for the Prime Minister to step down unless there is a formal withdrawal of support from the coalition members.
