JSP Issues Whip Against PM Dahal’s Confidence Motion, Supports NC-UML Alliance
11th Jul 2024
The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), led by Ashok Rai, has instructed its lawmakers to vote against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s upcoming confidence motion. JSP Chairman Ashok Rai announced the party’s support for the new alliance between the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress.
This move aligns with directives previously issued by both the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress, urging their members to reject PM Dahal’s motion. The alliance between these two major parties aims to topple the Dahal-led government and establish new administrations at both federal and provincial levels.
