Government Ensures Safety and Security of Nepali Nationals in Bangladesh
800 Nepali students have successfully left Bangladesh
The Government of Nepal has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all Nepali nationals, including students, in Bangladesh amidst recent developments. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it has been closely coordinating with universities, concerned authorities, and law enforcement agencies in Bangladesh to safeguard Nepali citizens.
As of today, approximately 800 Nepali students have successfully left Bangladesh for Nepal, either by air or via land border points. The Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka has played a pivotal role in coordinating the travel arrangements for students from various locations in Bangladesh to Dhaka airport or relevant border points to ensure their safe return home.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Nepali students facing any difficulties, as well as their parents and relatives, to fill out an online form to facilitate necessary support and assistance. This form can also be completed by concerned family members in Nepal. The form is available at Nepal Consular Services.
