Will emerge victorious in upcoming polls, says Maoist Centre Chairman
CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that internal discussions are ongoing in his party to emerge victorious in the upcoming polls without allying with other forces.
Addressing a programme at Maoist Centre’s central office on Sunday, Chairman Dahal expressed confidence that the people will make his party victorious.
“Party office-bearers’ meeting is ongoing. The discussions are taking place with the plan to contest polls without making an alliance with other parties,” the former Prime Minister said while welcoming the cadres of different political parties in the Maoist Centre.
Dahal argued that his government worked tirelessly for good governance and social justice during its 18-month tenure. “We have come out from the government by being the winner. We are out from the government by championing for good governance,” Prachanda said.
He criticized the incumbent government for being formed with the backing of those involved in corruption and irregularities. “We have to make people aware of this,” he added.
On the occasion, 60 plus politicians from CPN (UML), Nepali Congress, Rastriya Swatantra Party and others joined the Maoist Centre.
