Secured Transactions Bill in committee for clause-wise discussion
The House of Representatives has sent the ‘Secured Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion.
The meeting of the lower house today sent the bill, which originated in the National Assembly, to the committee.
The proposal by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel to send the bill to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion was unanimously approved by the house.
The meeting also endorsed a proposal from Speaker Devaraj Ghimire to change the names of the members of the Parliamentary Investigation Special Committee, State Directives Principle, Policy and Obligation Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Committee and various other thematic committees.
The House of Representatives will meet next on coming August 4.
