Nepal Oil Corporation Reduces Prices of Petroleum Products
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, effective from Thursday. According to a press release issued on Wednesday, the NOC has decreased the price of petrol by Rs 1 per litre, and diesel and kerosene by Rs 2 per litre. The price of aviation fuel remains unchanged.
Following the price reduction, the cost of petrol has dropped to Rs 167 per litre, and diesel and kerosene to Rs 155 per litre in the regions of Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amalekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.
In Surkhet and Dang, the price of petrol will be Rs 169 per litre, while diesel and kerosene will be Rs 157 per litre. In Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Dipayal, the price of petrol has been set at Rs 170 per litre, and diesel and kerosene at Rs 158 per litre.
