The government has taken a decisive step to ensure the credibility and transparency of the selection process for Nepali workers seeking employment in Israel. The Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Security has formed a five-member committee to recommend measures to enhance the integrity of the process.
The committee, headed by Under Secretary Meghnath Rimal, was established in response to concerns raised by news reports regarding the authenticity of documents submitted by workers in the selection process. The Ministry’s Spokesperson, Joint Secretary Govinda Prasad Rijal, emphasized that the ministry’s serious attention has been drawn to these issues and that the committee will be responsible for verifying the authenticity of the submitted documents and ensuring that the selection process is both credible and transparent.
In a statement released on Friday, the Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the government-to-government agreement between Nepal and Israel. The Ministry assured the public that it is fully dedicated to implementing this agreement effectively and is taking all necessary steps to maintain an orderly and transparent selection process.
The formation of this committee reflects the government’s proactive approach to addressing concerns and ensuring that the selection process for foreign employment in Israel remains fair and trustworthy.
