President Ramchandra Paudel Authenticates TRC Amendment Bill

President Ramchandra Paudel today officially authenticated the Bill to amend the Commission on the Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act (TRC Bill). The Office of the President confirmed this development.

The President’s approval of the Bill was granted in accordance with Article 113 (2) of the Constitution. The Bill was submitted for presidential authentication after receiving endorsements from both Houses of Parliament recently. This marks a significant step forward in Nepal’s efforts to address issues related to transitional justice.
