CPN (UML) Continues Politburo Meeting to Finalize Annual Action Plan
The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) [CPN (UML)] has commenced the second day of its Politburo meeting at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur. The meeting, presided over by Prime Minister and Party Chairperson KP Sharma Oli, is focused on gathering suggestions from politburo members on the party’s annual action plan.
The action plan, outlined by the party’s General Secretary Shankar Pokharel on the first day of the meeting, covers several key areas aimed at strengthening the party. These include expanding party membership, improving documentation processes, and holding regular conventions for both the party and its affiliated sister organizations.
Rajendra Gautam, Chief of the Party’s Publicity Department, shared that each member has been allocated three minutes to express their views on the action plan. The discussions are expected to help refine the strategies, which also include evaluating party committees, leaders, and cadres to enhance leadership effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Following these discussions, the action plan will be finalized. The meeting is scheduled to conclude with an address by Prime Minister and Party Chairperson Oli.
