Artist Suryaman Shankar (IKU) Arrested by CIB for Alleged Fraud in Fake Visa Scheme

A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested artist Suryaman Shankar, also known as IKU, on charges of defrauding multiple individuals by making false promises to send them abroad on artist visas. According to CIB Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Hovindra Bogati, Suryaman was apprehended for allegedly swindling people out of millions of rupees.
The investigation revealed that Suryaman collected between 1.5 to 2 million rupees from various individuals under the pretext of securing them overseas artist visas. The CIB is continuing its investigation into the case, with further details expected as the inquiry progresses.
