Parliamentary Hearing Committee Concludes Review of Nepal’s Ambassadorial Nominees to USA, UK, Spain, and Sri Lanka

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has completed the review of Nepal’s proposed ambassadors to the USA, UK, Spain, and Sri Lanka. Lok Darshan Regmi has been recommended for the United States, Chandra Kumar Ghimire for the United Kingdom, Sanil Nepal for Spain, and Ram Krishna Bhattarai for Sri Lanka.
On July 29, the government recommended 17 ambassadors, forwarding their names to the parliamentary committee for endorsement. With this latest hearing, the review process for all 17 ambassadorial candidates has now been concluded.
During the hearings, the nominees outlined their plans to strengthen Nepal’s diplomatic relations with their respective host countries.
