Inspector General of Nepal Police, Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, emphasized the importance of unified efforts to combat drug abuse during the 28th anniversary of the Asara Drug Rehabilitation Centre today. IGP Kunwar praised the Centre for its vital role in curbing drug abuse and contributing to social correction.
He highlighted the Centre’s work in offering counseling, medical treatment, and rehabilitation services to those affected by drug addiction, aiding in their positive transformation and reintegration into society.
During the event, IGP Kunwar also launched the Asara Darpan-2081 BS, the Centre’s annual publication. The Asara Drug Rehabilitation Centre, a non-profit organization, operates under the supervision of the Nepal Police Wives Association.
