Arrest Warrant Issued Against RSP President Rabi Lamichhane
An arrest warrant has been issued against Rabi Lamichhane, the President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), in connection with an investigation into the embezzlement of funds from the Suryadarshan Cooperative. The Kaski District Court authorized the police to proceed with the investigation, which implicates Lamichhane in the alleged misappropriation.
According to Manish Jha, Acting Spokesperson for the RSP, a police team arrived at the party’s office in Banasthali, Kathmandu, with the arrest warrant. Jha confirmed that the party would fully cooperate with the police during the investigation.
The District Police Office in Kaski is leading the inquiry into claims that Lamichhane, along with Gitendra Babu (GB) Rai, siphoned funds from Suryadarshan Cooperative to the Gorkha Media Network. The case is expected to draw significant attention as authorities proceed with the investigation.
