Light to Moderate Rain with Thunder Expected in Hilly Areas Due to Westerly Winds

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some hilly areas of the country today. This is due to the influence of westerly winds and local winds, which are affecting various regions.
According to the Department, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. In the rest of the country, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to mostly clear.
By tonight, conditions in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear. Additionally, there is a likelihood of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some hilly areas, particularly in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
