PM Oli Attends Third Convocation of Lumbini Buddhist University
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived in Lumbini, Rupandehi district, today to participate in the third convocation ceremony of Lumbini Buddhist University. Upon arrival at Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa, he was received by Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya.
The convocation ceremony is also being attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Bishnu Poudel, Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Bidhya Bhattarai, Chief Minister Acharya, and other dignitaries.
A total of 289 students are set to graduate during the event, marking a significant milestone in their academic journeys. The university, located in the birthplace of Lord Buddha, emphasizes education rooted in Buddhist philosophy and values.
The convocation underscores the importance of Lumbini as both an educational and spiritual hub, further contributing to its global significance.
