PM Oli Departs for Four-Day Official Visit to China
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to depart for Beijing this morning for a four-day official visit to China, scheduled from December 2 to December 5, at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PM Oli will hold talks with Premier Li Qiang, focusing on bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest. He will also meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Zhao Leji.
During the visit, the Prime Minister is slated to deliver speeches at Peking University and the Nepal-China Business Forum. The forum is being jointly organized by the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
PM Oli will be accompanied by his spouse, Radhika Shakya, and a high-level delegation that includes Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, members of the Federal Parliament, senior government officials, business leaders, and media representatives.
The delegation is scheduled to return to Nepal on December 5.
