Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Concludes Visit to China, Returns to Nepal
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has returned to Nepal today after completing a four-day official visit to the People’s Republic of China. Upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, high-ranking government officials, and chiefs of security bodies.
A contingent of the Nepali Army presented a guard of honor to the Prime Minister at the VVIP lounge to mark his return.
PM Oli had left for China on December 2 at the cordial invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang. During his visit to Beijing, he held a significant meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, where both leaders discussed various aspects of bilateral relations. The Prime Minister and his Chinese counterpart also held talks to exchange views on areas of mutual interest.
In addition to these high-level discussions, Nepal and China signed multiple agreements during the visit, strengthening the ties between the two nations.
The delegation accompanying PM Oli included his spouse Radhika Shakya, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic and Development Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, lawmakers, senior government officials, private sector representatives, and media personnel.
