5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Bajura, Causes Panic Among Locals

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolted Gotri, Jagannath Rural Municipality, in the eastern northern part of Bajura district early Saturday morning. The Surkhet Earthquake Measurement Center reported the quake struck at 4:14 am, with its epicenter located in Gotri village.

The tremor caused alarm among residents, with many rushing out of their homes in the district headquarters of Martadi and nearby areas. Reports indicate a state of panic as locals fear potential aftershocks.
