Five Ambassadors Take Oath of Office Before President
President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to five newly appointed ambassadors at a ceremony held at the President’s Office today.
The new envoys include Jung Bahadur Chauhan, Ambassador to the Russian Federation; Chandra Kumar Ghimire, Ambassador to the United Kingdom; Shanil Nepal, Ambassador to Spain; Dr. Shivamaya Tumbahangphe, Ambassador to the Republic of Korea; and Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma, Ambassador to the Republic of India.
The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from the Government of Nepal, according to the Office of the President.
These appointments aim to strengthen Nepal’s diplomatic ties with key nations, reflecting the country’s commitment to enhancing bilateral and multilateral relationships on the global stage.
