President and Vice President Extend Greetings on Christmas, Highlighting Unity and Harmony

President Ramchandra Paudel emphasized the importance of festivals in promoting cultural diversity, mutual goodwill, and national solidarity. Extending his best wishes to the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas Day, the President expressed confidence that such celebrations strengthen the fabric of national unity.

President Paudel highlighted that Christmas, observed annually on December 25 to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, serves as a vital opportunity to enhance mutual trust, love, and unity among people of different faiths. He wished for happiness, peace, and good health for all celebrating the festival and hoped it would inspire collective goodwill.

Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav also conveyed his warm greetings, emphasizing the role of festivals in showcasing the country’s rich religious and cultural diversity. In his message, Vice President Yadav extended best wishes for peace, happiness, and prosperity to the Christian community.

He underscored the belief that Christmas fosters mutual understanding and fraternity, inspiring citizens to work toward building a prosperous and advanced society. The Vice President expressed hope that the festival would motivate collective efforts for the country’s development, sustainable peace, and good governance.

Christmas celebrations are underway in various parts of Nepal, including Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and Pokhara, with vibrant programs marking the occasion.
