Partial Weather Changes Expected in Kathmandu Valley

The Kathmandu Valley is experiencing partial changes in weather conditions, with chances of light snowfall in some mountainous regions due to the influence of a westerly low-pressure system and accompanying winds.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast partly cloudy weather in the hilly regions over the next 24 hours. The cloudy conditions in the Kathmandu Valley, attributed to the westerly system, are expected to clear by this afternoon.

Compared to Tuesday, the weather is anticipated to improve, with current temperatures recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures expected to range between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius.

The Department has advised caution, especially in areas of the Terai and the Valley, where foggy conditions are likely on Thursday morning, potentially affecting visibility and daily activities.
