Harka Raj Rai Appointed Secretary of the House of Representatives

President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed Harka Raj Rai from Jhapa as the Secretary of the House of Representatives (HoR).

The appointment was made on the recommendation of Speaker Devraj Ghimire, with Rai, a resident of Shivasatakshi Municipality-2 in Koshi Province, assuming the post.

According to the Office of the President, the decision aligns with Article 106(1) of the Constitution of Nepal.

Rai’s new role is expected to enhance the functioning of the HoR, as he brings his expertise to the legislative body.
