Nepali Congress Leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala Meets Former UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly

Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala held a meeting with James Cleverly, the former UK Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and leader of the Conservative Party, at the UK Parliament’s House of Commons in London on Tuesday.

According to Dr. Koirala’s private secretariat, the meeting focused on strengthening Nepal-UK relations and exploring avenues for mutual cooperation.

During the discussions, Dr. Koirala emphasized the need for increased support from the United Kingdom for development projects in Nepal. He highlighted the importance of UK assistance in fostering Nepal’s socio-economic growth and urged Cleverly to advocate for enhanced collaboration between the two nations.
