Gold Price Rises by Rs 1,200 Per Tola in Nepal

The price of gold in Nepal surged by Rs 1,200 per tola (11.66 grams) on Thursday, reflecting a corresponding rise in the international market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is now being traded at Rs 156,600 per tola, up from Rs 155,400 on Wednesday.

The price increase is attributed to the global market, where gold is currently valued at $2,695 per ounce.

Similarly, the price of silver has also seen an uptick in the domestic market. It is being traded at Rs 1,880 per tola today, an increase of Rs 50 from Rs 1,830 on Wednesday.

The rise in gold and silver prices highlights the influence of international market trends on Nepal’s precious metals trade, which remains a key focus for investors and traders.
